Introduction to Meditation
An introduction to mindfulness meditation practices. We will use the practice to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. No experience is necessary.
Yoga Sutra Study
The yoga sutras are a complete manual for the study and practice of Raja Yoga, the path of concentration and meditation. These timeless teachings are a treasure to be read and referred to again and again by seekers treading the spiritual path. The classic Sutras (thought-threads), at least four thousand years old, cover the yogic teachings on ethics, meditation, and physical postures, and provide directions for dealing with situations in daily life. Each class we will explore yoga philosophy with a chosen sutra from Patanjali.
Maha Shakti (Dharma Yoga)
Come explore postures as taught by our Master Teacher and Guru, Sri Dharma Mittra. You'll also learn important breathing exercises, which are key to restoring vitality and a balanced functioning of the inner workings of the body and mind. All sessions will end with meditation and a guided deep relaxation to recharge and renew.
Aerial Yoga and Core Strength
Using a yoga hammock, students practice traditional yoga postures and exercises that strengthen and stabilize the core.
Monthly Meditation Practice (Sangha)
We will be meeting every month to practice mindfulness based meditation in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Sangha means "community" with common goal, vision or purpose. Our group's primary purpose is learning to live mindfully and do everything that way. We will practice seated and walking meditation as a method and include dharma discussion and sharing. This gathering is FREE of charge and is open to everyone. Please confirm with us if you plan on attending. Please bring a meditation cushion/bolster with you if you have one. We also have chairs available.

Combining the two creates a model that truly addresses addiction as the physical, mental & spiritual disease that it is. Y12SR is a 12-step based discussion and yoga practice that is open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behavior of others. Yoga Nidra Deep Healing Relaxation
Yoga Nidra Deep Healing Relaxation is a guided restorative session aimed to help you break free from the stress of the noisy and restless world that maintains its presence in our bodies and minds at all times. This practice will allow you to take the time to let all the cells of your physical body, joints and organs de-stress and begin to find balance. This result occurs on an unconscious level as your bodily systems become healthy, balanced and refreshed.
30 minutes of yoga nidra is equivalent to 3-4 hours of sleep!
